Our Offer
Look, you're a landscaper, not a welder. We get it. Chippies don't build kitchens and concreters don't tile or render—so why waste time and money trying to fabricate custom steelwork in-house? That's what we do. You focus on what you're brilliant at, we handle the steel, and you pocket the difference. It's that simple.
We're a small business that actually gives a damn about our trade partners. 15% discount on all work (onsite or workshop), 5-year workmanship warranty backing every job, and comms that don't disappear into the void. Fast turnarounds, tailored solutions, reliable delivery. You install, we fabricate, you make more money with less headache. Full warranty policy available in our Policies page.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get the 15% trade discount?
Cleaning is simple. Use a soft brush and water to remove dirt and debris. For stubborn stains, a mild detergent works fine. Avoid harsh chemicals or pressure washers that could damage the patina. Most of the time, you won't need to clean it at all—the weathered look is part of its charm.
Does the 15% discount apply to both onsite and workshop jobs?
Yes, absolutely. Corten is safe for garden beds and vegetable gardens. The protective patina layer prevents any harmful substances from leaching into soil. Many gardeners prefer corten for raised beds because it's durable, looks great, and won't contaminate plants or soil.
Is there a minimum order or minimum spend for trade pricing?
Regular steel rusts and needs painting to survive outdoors. Corten is a special alloy that rusts in a controlled way, forming a protective patina that stops further corrosion. It's self-protecting, requires no paint, and develops a beautiful weathered look over time. It's the smart choice for outdoor landscaping.
What areas do you service for onsite work, and what's your travel range?
Yes, if you're handy. We provide detailed installation guides with every order. Most projects just need basic tools and a level. For complex installations or if you're unsure, we can recommend trusted local installers or provide on-site support.
What's your typical lead time for fabrication, and can you do rush jobs?
We offer corten in 3mm, 4mm, and 6mm thicknesses. For most landscaping applications, 4mm is the sweet spot—strong enough for raised beds, planters, and edging, but not overkill. 6mm is ideal for heavy-duty installations. We'll recommend the right thickness for your project.
How fast can you quote, and what info do you need to quote accurately?
During the first 12–24 months, some rust staining can occur on adjacent surfaces. We recommend sealing pavers nearby or using a gravel base to catch runoff. Once the patina stabilizes, staining stops. It's a temporary aesthetic issue, not a durability problem.
Can you work from sketches, photos, or plans, or do you need a drawing?
Minimal. Once the patina is established (12–24 months), corten needs almost no maintenance. Avoid sealing it—the rust layer is the protection. In coastal areas, occasional rinsing with fresh water helps. That's it. No painting, no special treatments needed.
Do you provide install-ready parts and fixings, or is it supply only?
Corten steel typically lasts 50+ years with proper installation. Many installations we've done are still performing beautifully after 20+ years. The lifespan depends on climate and maintenance, but in Australian conditions, corten is exceptionally durable and will outlast most other landscaping materials.
Can you make custom sizes (edging, screens, planters, features) to suit my job?
No. Corten steel won't rot. It develops a protective rust layer (patina) that actually prevents deeper corrosion. This layer stabilizes after 12–24 months and then the steel stops rusting. It's designed to weather beautifully for decades with minimal maintenance.
What materials do you offer (Corten, mild steel, stainless), and what's best for landscapes?
No hard minimum. We work with landscapers on projects of all sizes. Smaller orders may have longer lead times, but we'll quote you honestly upfront.
What finishes do you offer (raw, pre-rusted Corten, painted/powder coated)?
Standard items: 2–4 weeks. Custom work: 4–8 weeks. Rush orders available (ask us). We'll confirm your build slot when you place the order.
What should my client expect from Corten as it weathers (patina, runoff, staining)?
We deliver to job sites across Melbourne metro and regional Victoria. Pickup available at our workshop. Everything is packaged to arrive ready to install—no surprises.
Do you have standard product ranges landscapers can use on repeat jobs?
Yes. Send us a DXF, sketch, or photo. We'll quote custom work and build it to spec. Most custom tweaks don't cost extra if they're reasonable.
Do you deliver to site, and how is large steelwork packaged/handled?
Yes, we can deliver to site depending on location and project size. Smaller items are palletised or wrapped, while larger pieces are securely strapped for transport and designed to be unloaded with common site equipment like forklifts.
How do payments work for trade (deposit, progress payments, balance on completion)?
Most custom work requires a deposit to begin fabrication, with the balance due before delivery or on completion. Larger projects may include progress payments. Trade clients may be eligible for account terms over time.
Can you coordinate directly with my client, or do you only deal with the landscaper?
We can work either way. Many landscapers prefer to remain the main contact, but we’re also happy to coordinate directly with clients if requested.
What's the process if something fails and I need it fixed quickly?
Contact us as soon as possible with photos and details. We prioritise urgent issues and will organise a repair or replacement as quickly as practical.
What's covered by your 5-year workmanship warranty, in simple terms?
Our warranty covers faults caused by manufacturing or fabrication errors. It doesn’t cover normal weathering, misuse, or damage caused during installation by others.
Do you offer ongoing trade partnerships or tiered pricing for volume work?
Yes. We work with landscapers, builders, and designers and can offer better pricing for repeat or volume orders.
